Built at the beginning of XIX century by the Malnati, a noble family from Milan, the property was bought in 1821 by Ermenegildo Castiglioni who, despite having a mansion in Milan, preferred to spend time with his family in the serene and calm surrounds of the Villa. The Villa was opened to the public and converted into a hotel in 1988. |
