The hotel has its own restaurant and bar. The kitchen, run by Lucia and her son Giacomo, brings to the table the wisdom of the ancient traditions of the true Tabarka cuisine, composed of Mediterranean ingredients prepared in accordance with genuine recipes of Liguria but enriched with a particular exotic Arabian touch. During the summer people can savour the delicious local specialities in the exteriors of the hotel, under the pergola. Typical dishes, such as the cassolla (fish soup and crustaceans), the cashcà (a vegetarian cous cous with sweet marjoram spice), the bobba (a soup with broad beans, courgettes and tomatoes), and other local delicacies, including lobsters and fresh tuna fish, will be served together with the best Sardinian wines and followed by the typical myrtle liqueur. |

Of volcanic origin, the island of San Pietro is green and colurful thanks to a vegetation composed of pine forests, junipers and lentischio plants. How to reach Portoscuso from Cagliari (90 km). By car: take the A-road 130, in the direction of Iglesias. At the 44 Km divert in the direction of Villa Massargia-Carbonia. Then, at the junction Carbonia-Sirai, follow the directions to Portovesme and then towards Portoscuso. By train: at guests’ disposal there is an integrated bus-train transportation network offered by Trenitalia and Ferrovie Meridionali Sarde. Embarking from Portoscuso, on the sardinian coast, and in about 40 minutes of Ferry you will land on the island through daily and frequent connections assured by the Ferry companies Saremar and Delcomar. As soon as you leave the ferry-boat hold the right and following a brief line of the waterfront, at the second petrol station follow the signposted route for Guardia dei Mori Hotel. |
