Sagrada Familia (0.9 km) - Designed by the famous but controversial architect Antoni Gaudi, this spectacular church is more of a cathedral and features on its three intricate facades the nativity, the passion and the glory of Christ, which is yet to be completed. From the top of the spindle-shaped towers, there is a fantastic panoramic view of the city. Parque Güell (1.5 km) - Also designed by Gaudi, this fantastically popular municipal park is full of footpaths, buildings and bizarre architecture. The park was the idea of a count who wanted to exploit the fresh air and beautiful views. The hotel is also very near Las Ramblas, the city centre and is just 2.6 km from Barcelona’s main hub, Plaza Catalunya. |
