This eco-friendly, rural hotel is built around a typical Andalusian courtyard and offers a variety of ways to help you relax in its peaceful, natural surroundings. Set inland of the Costa del Sol, the Mondalutz provides the perfect place to enjoy the countryside of Andalusia. Built respecting the local landscape, the hotel is made from wood, clay and other ecological materials. It is arranged according to the principles of Feng Shui. Swim in the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool, which is fed by a 176-metre-deep well. This well also provides the water for the range of wellness treatments available on site, including mineral water baths, massages and mud wraps. Other rustic activities for you to enjoy on the 8,000 m² estate include handcraft workshops. You can also take a guided tour of the local mountains. After a day in the open air, relax by the fireplace in the lounge before a meal in the dining room, set overlooking the pretty courtyard. |

The hotel boasts 14 rooms named after the different types of bush that can be found in the property, 12 of which are 20 sqm double rooms with hand painted ceramic bathrooms. Iroko wood furniture, heating and clay flooring. All rooms have been individually decorated, featuring a unique atmosphere so that your stay will be unforgettable. The suites feature a 1.50 m king size bed and sofa bed and cherry wood furniture. One of them has a hydromassage bathtub and the other one, adapted for disabled guests, has a private terrace. Rooms are located on two different wings, one with mountain views and the other one with access to the pine forest, with chairs to contemplate the landscape. |

In our restaurant you can enjoy excellent food, prepared with products from our own vegetable patch, thus creating a pure Mediterranean cuisine with a homey taste. We also offer a purifying vegetable menu for those wishing to lose weight and improve their health (group bookings). Our unique regional gastronomy dates from the Middle Ages, blending Christian and Moorish influences. For starters we offer salads and soups, cold in summer and hot in winter, with a special combination of ingredients creating a symphony of tastes that can even satisfy the most demanding diner. |

Between the valley and the mountains, shielded from the wind by a hill on which the La Villeta Castle is located, lies the village of Monda, rich in history and beauty. In 1971 it was declared a natural monument. Mondas classification as a historic site speaks for itself as for what the traveller will discover in this fairy tale village. |
