From Jerez airport (26 km): - Leave the airport and head towards Cádiz along the IV road for about 11 km. - Join the 443 road for 6 km, then you will see the exit sign for Puerto de Sta María. - Join the road for Puerto and continue straight ahead until you reach a roundabout at the entrance to the city. - Head towards the city centre and find the Mercado de Abastos (market building). - The hotel is 25 metres further on. |

Dating back to the 17th century and restored in 1999 into 17 holiday apartments, the apart-hotel represents the most impressive example of Baroque architecture in the centre of El Puerto de Santa María. Locally the apart-hotel is known as the Casa de los Leones – the House of Lions – as these fine beasts decorate the pillars of the entrance of the apart-hotel. Although the entire façade stunningly decorative, the wavy balcony is exceptional, with its design of wrought iron serving to intensify the Baroque appeal of this unique building. There is also a statue of the Virgen de la Escalada – in her oratory flanked by 2 pillars. The virgin comes from the mountains and is crafted in gilded ceramic and dates from the 17th century. The main interior courtyard/patio and the galleries that surround it, has traditional wooden beams, balusters and wrought iron all of which has been fully-restored.
