The swimming pool is located in the upper part of the Inns grounds, in the part called the Turell. You get there via the gardens along a dry river bed going uphill and ending up at some steps. There is a cold-drinks machine, parasols and sun loungers. Due to its high-up position you can get a birds eye view of Besalú, la Mare de Déu del Mont and the Sagrat Cor. The Fonda Siquès has an unattended open-air car park for its hotel and restaurant customers right next to the road; with a capacity for about twenty cars and very near the historic centre and Roman bridge.

The hotel has 26 rooms. Each room is uniquely decorated and has its own individual character and great views over the mountains. The rooms on the first floor already existed when the hotel opened as an Inn. Although smaller than those on the second floor, they still preserve the characteristic look of the beginning of the 20th century, but with the comforts a 21st century-customer needs. All rooms are en suite and are equipped with heating, telephone, and TV. Some of the rooms have air conditioning.

With over one hundred years of service, the Fonda Siqués is a point of reference in the world of inn-keeping in La Garrotxa and in the region of Girona. The building is that of a typical end-of-the-19th century Catalan Inn, devoted to changing the carthorses of the carriages. This privately owned hotel belongs to the Ventura Teixidor family, who have been hoteliers for 6 generations. The first records of the hotel date from 1858, and in 2008 the hotel will celebrate 150 years of opening.
